Andy leads the development and application of the EWB solutions design process and supports our Community programs team to strengthen applied processes for solutions development. 
Andy has a background in mechanical engineering, with experience in process development and product design, teaching at Massey University, and more recently completed his PHD focusing on enhancing human-centred technology development through embedding capacity development into participatory design processes, with field studies in Cambodia working collaboratively with people with disabilities to co-design assistive farming techniques. He has experience facilitating on EWB's Design Summits, and has also been instrumental in the development of EWB's design process.
